Israel is reported to have run into difficulties with Germany over the planned sale of a sixth Dolphin class submarine supposedly capable of launching nuclear-tipped missiles, potentially a vital factor in any clash with Iran.

The Russian Navy successfully test-fired an experimental Bulava (SS-N-X-30) intercontinental ballistic missile on Friday from its Yury Dolgoruky submarine in the White Sea, the Defense Ministry said.

Taiwan continues to push the U.S. to release new F-16C/Ds despite U.S. President Barack Obama’s approval of an upgrade for 146 older F-16A/B fighters in September, along with the active electronically scanned array radar. Now Taiwan officials and supporters are pointing to a new Oct. 24 report commissioned by the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) to further push for a release.
