Russia’s UAC and the burden of debt

Russia’s UAC appears poised to issue bonds valued at USD1.5 billion this year in order to put its debt on a longer-term footing and to repay existing loans to state-controlled banks that helped the group through the ‘crippling’ financial crisis of recent years.

US Aerospace partners with AVIC to pursue US military contracts

US Aerospace Inc (USAE), the US aviation services group that partnered with Ukraine’s Antonov to bid for the US Air Force KC-X tanker contest, is preparing to bid on a number of future US military contracts with the Chinese state-owned defence enterprise, the Aviation Corporation of China (AVIC).
